Sugar is still very much pregnant. I think she still has a week or so to go. She may surprise me but shes still running out to get her veg in the mornings. Shes getting bigger and bigger though. Both sides are now evening out a little. She may have 4 pups inside or 3 large ones.
Will keep you all posted.

Afternoon everyone Sugar is still heavily pregnant and I can now see the pups moving about inside her from a distance. Its a wonderful thing. I took a snap of her and Apatche resting today.  Im hoping it wont be too long until she delivers. Kayleigh |

Im hoping its soon too. Im very excited for this litter and hopeful everything goes smoothly. Im sure she will be like my other sows and deliver in the early hours of the morning.

Heres a couple more snaps of my very pregnant Sugar. She cant have long to go now. Shes truely huge. The pigtures take weight off not add it on. Hehe. Im getting a tad worried as shes so large and the pups feel quite big too. Im hoping there more pups rather than a few big pups. Ill keep you posted   Kayleigh |

aww she so pretty im glad she is doing well ^^ its to bad ur not aloud to breed adopted animals lol maybe in the future i will look into it.it would be wonderful to see how mother nature works with guinea and for them to have natural births like they do in wild ^^ good luck on ur birth Sugar!!! wil be rooting on u lol

Sugar is still pregnant and keeping us all waiting. Its been a very warm few days and she has been laying down alot, only moving to get veggies, water and food. Bless her!! Im hoping she has the pups soon.

Well theres still no pups and im beginning to get a tad worried. Shes very lazy now and im hoping shes going to go into labour soon. Shes still wolfing down her veggies and loving her hay and readi grass. I took a snap of Apatche and Sugar today just chilling. You can see how big Sugar is against Apatche who is a fully grown adult sow.  Im hoping to post very soon with new pigtures of the pups and Sugar. Fingers crossed, Kayleigh |

Afternoon everyone Im delighted to let you know Sugar finally had her pups. Just as i got in from work at 5:20pm. She delivered 5 pups sadly one was stillborn and twice the size of its siblings. The other four are all now clean and dry. Im a little worried as Sugars not paying them much attention but im hoping her instincts kick in. Ill keep a close eye on them for the next 24 hours.    I cant believe how different they look. All pink ears, nose and feet. Soo adorable. Im hoping they all thrive. Ill keep you all posted with the progress. Kayleigh |

Congratulations! You must be thrilled! I was thinking about Sugar this afternoon and wondering if she was going to have her babies soon. Hopefully she'll get more involved with the pups soon.

Im pleased to say Sugar is now paying the pups more attention. Shes not producing as much milk as my other sows but shes still feeding the pups. I gave them some time away from the others and Sugar enjoyed some yummy Kale and Spring greens. I think im going to give all four a little feed tomorrow morning just to give them an added boost.
