i love horses equally much as i love piggies and i am a national championship rider! thats really cool! I ride too, but I'm not very good yet, ha ha. I don't like taking pictures of myself, which is why the only pictures I really have are of me riding :] Hope you don't mind!  On a horse named Rio. Ignore the gigantic gap in my teeth..it was from my expander but it's mostly gone now :]  Rio again.  This is Scooter <3 My name is Melanie and I'm 13. Been riding and owning guinea pigs since I was 9-ish. I jump horses 2'6" regularly, but I have jumped as high as 3'3". Sorry the pics are so big! |

aww he's gorges my fave pony is called Sprite and Rio looks a bit like Sprite Thats cool! Rio was gorgeous but a terror to ride. He had a really short stride and didn't like going over the jumps lol and thanks Dawn :] |

I introduced myself awhile back but I will introduce the rest of my crew since I have acquired more piggies for the piggie family. This is the late and great Lyndie that recently departed, with my handsom, Neko.  This is Neko and Trinity aka Baby Kitty  This is Shiro  This is Hershel  This is Nutter  And this is Layla  I still have Cinnamon and the momma and her babies and they now have names. I'll post grown up pictures of them later. Marshmallow unfortunately didn't make it from my last post on her if you haven't read that. I don't have the rats anymore and I have acquired even more tarantulas. Me and my husband now have 30. |

I wasnt going to do this, im quite shy!! but i have found two pictures of me that are not scary (well, almost!) *picture removed* Me helping out at the farm, with Sox the lamb (i named her after my deceased dog!!) Thanks Dawn, Harrison ADORES the guineas, he is so helpful bless him! he has just learnt how to carry them back to their cage! (the boys, i dont trust the girls!) hubby says he loves the guineas, but he is more a rabbit and cat person, lol  |

And me with my younger siblings (my older brother wasn't with us):  When my hair isn't in a ponytail it is about chest length...but I really don't like messing with it, so up in a ponytail it goes. |

Just a post to introduce myself.
I have had guinea pigs for over 30 years now since I got my first one in my 20s.
More recently I have only taken piggies that need re-homing and the most I have had is 9 ladies who live in one large run. Sadly I'm down to my last two - Hazel and Willow who are both nearly 7 years old .
I moved to Scotland from Cambridgeshire just over 8 years ago and am very lucky to have a small holding where, in addition to my piggies, I keep my horse (Biscuit), his three companion sheep (Bertie, Derek and Colin), a few chickens (Keith, Connie, Pat, Rita, Norma and Chrissie), a springer spaniel (Ghillie) - oh and my very tolerant husband.
