Earlier Stripe made this weird noise. Sounded like a cough to me. She did it a few times and I haven't heard her do it since then.
3 questions, 1. Can guinea pigs cough? 2. If so, what can cause them to cough? and 3. What should I do about it if she does it again?
Thanks!

Guinea pigs can cough, my Amber tends to cough a bit if she eats her food too fast. It could be that Stripe ate her food or drank too quickly if she's stopped coughing now. It could also be due to dust from hay or bedding.
I would keep an eye on her for a while just to be on the safe side. If she has any raspy sounds or wheeziness coming from her breathing she could have a respiratory infection, but if she has no other symptoms I would think she's just eaten/drank too quickly.
I'm sure other members will have more advice for you.

Me and my fiance noticed a little earlier that she is eating more than usual. I keep food in there for them but she has never ate that much in one sitting. So that could be whats going on with her.
She hasn't done it anymore but I will still keep checking her to make sure she is okay. Thanks.

Mine also cough when they stuff food. Sounds like thats what it is but you are right to keep an eye on her.

She is doing just fine now. I suppose it was her eating too fast.
Thank you everyone for your help!
