I know Skittles is at least 3 years old. That's how long I've had her, but I'm not sure how old she was when I got her from her old owners.
Yesterday, she was acting a bit sluggish, but I didn't think much of it because she reacted quickly when I petted her.
Today, she won't eat her green bell pepper. That's one of her favorites, although I can't think of anything she won't eat very quickly.
I hope I give her enough vitamin c.
She's moving around on my chest a bit. Not a lot, but it has never been a lot.
I had a cat that had fleas in my house (before I knew it had fleas). The vet said to put a drop of revolution on each pig (the stuff to get rid of fleas, ticks, some of the worms, etc.). Could that be an issue? It doesn't seem to affect the other two.
I don't know if I should take her into the emergency vet. It costs an extreme amount of money, and they always seem to dismiss my problems, like piggy diarrhea. Or my dog bleeding for over an hour and a half from a clipped nail, which ended up actually needing to be cauterized.

Should I separate her in case it's a respiratory infection?

Hi
Did you use the revoloution for cats on the guinea pigs? how much did you use?
Sometimes guinea pigs just have off days and dont eat their favourite veggies. I would say between 3 & 5 isnt that old for a guinea pigs. I have a 7 year old sow with me just now and shes very thin but eats like the others, shes a bit slow off the mark but she still wheeks when its feeding time ect. So although shes not herself today, give her a few days, keep a close eye on her and make sure shes eating, and passing faeces.

I used the revolution for cats 5.1-15 lbs. You're supposed to use the whole tube for a cat, but the vet said just one drop for the piggies. It was the 16th that I did it, and she started acting a little slower yesterday, but I wasn't worried until veggie time today.
The small pet person at the pet store said it sounded like a respiratory infection.
Thanks for the comforting words. I think I'll take her in tomorrow just to make sure, but I'm glad you think it's not as bad as I was thinking.
Thank you again.

It may be shes developed a URI. Does she live inside? is her breathing crackly and does she have any discharge around her nose?
Hope shes ok.
Let us know what the vet says

She had a little discharge from her left eye and is closing it more than normal. I wouldn't be as concerned if it wasn't for being so slowed down and not eating her veggies. I think the bell pepper was home grown. Maybe she likes store bought veggies? That's what my fiance suggested. Her nose seems fine, and I don't hear her breathing, but I hear her stomach growling like she's hungry or has gas. But that's only if I listen.

She has an infection in her mouth. So she has baytril and this stuff I'm supposed to mix with water and feed her (to build up nutrients). And I'm going to give her water through a syringe.

How long before she should be pooing again? We left the vets about 8 hours ago. I've kept her in the cage with Ruby most of the day, but I've been separating her at times to see if she poos and she hasn't yet. And normally she would have by now.

If shes not eating solid food or mushy food theres not much to form faeces. Is she eating anything herself.. hay ect?

She's not eating food, veggies, or hay, but she's eating this stuff the vet gave me. It looks like cat nip mixed with water and I syringe it into her mouth.
