I've just learned that Romaine lettuce can cause kidney stones. I found a spot of dried white urine while changing Shelby's fleece which caused some research. Do I need to worry? He's only had Romaine for about a week and a half, about every other day during that time period, and maybe only 1/4 cup worth.
Dried white urine on fleece is usually nothing to worry about. Its just the calcuim in the urine.
As for romaine lettuce causing this, there are many veggies that can make pigs more common to it. But aslong as you vary the diet you should be fine. I feed carrots, spring greens ect very often with no problems.
Thank you, Kayleigh. I'm getting so fed up with all the conflicting information out there, it's like "well you can feed this, but it will cause that, and if you feed this, this will happen." I'm sitting here at my desk shaking my head.

Orlaith: Hey! Remember that the best way to get a response is to create a thread. Not everyone can see the shoutbox.

Kayleigh: I only see the shoutbox when on my laptop or tablet. It doesnt show on my phone (i use my phone most of the time) SO i agree with Oraith create a thread that way we can all see it.

Enneagon: But I have to agree with Candyguts - this one is sort of active but not very... it's kind of weird. My budgie one is more active than this one. So let's make it more active!
