Here are the updated pictures of our August litters. Pinwheel's litter of two boars and 1 sow, all Crested Albus' litter of himis, one boar and three sows And here are individual pictures of the himi litter to show the differences in coat type. The Abyssinian male (rosettes) Lakeland (skinny gene carrier) sow (creates a wavy/curly texture coat) Lakeland sow 2 (less curly, but wavy texture) American sow (does not carry the skinny gene) For those of you wondering, Lakeland pigs are Americans that carry the skinny pig gene. They are born with wavy or curly hair that eventually grows out into the normal American coat as they age. This is the only way to know that they carry the skinny gene. When Lakelands are bred, they pass the skinny gene and American gene (thus we have two lakelands and one American sow). The abby gene came from the mother of the litter.
