So, we adopted Kahlua a friend who is already pregnant, at least 5wks. Right now they are in seperate housing, but I'm getting together stuff to build a 2x3 grid c&c for them, all we have room for, but might have a second level. Should I wait until after the babies are born and weaned to put them in the new cage, or would any of you try now? Kahlua yeeps A LOT and I'm wondering if that might calm her down, but I don't want to stress out the new one, who still needs a name.

As the pregnant sow is about half way through her pregnancy i wouldnt risk stressing her out. This could cause her to abort and or absorb the pups. It could also cause premature labour which would lead to underdeveloped pups being born.
Its best to keep her alone, until the pups are born and weaned. She may not take too well to a new friend until her pups are a little older.
So for her own health and that of her pups, try to keep the rest of her pregnancy as stress free as possible.
Best of luck
