Today we had to take Izzy's 2 x 3 week old baby boys away from her as they both tried to mate with her. They are eating very well and are still drinking from her but I don't want to chance them being with her. They are 256gr and 276gr. I am worried as they are crying for her as she is crying for them. We have got them together in a hutch inside our boar pen. The 3 adult male boars are separate to the babies so we don't have any issues but I hate to hear them cry for mum.. How long should we expect them to cry for???

They should stop after a day or so. It's awful, it makes you feel like the worst, meanest person in the world, but it really is for the best, and remember that they have each other, so don't worry!
