I was wondering what age a sow should be at the time of mating? Or what weight she should be at if age is not certain?

Personally i like a sow to be around 8 months old and atleast 800g+. At this age i know she has reached maturity and could handle pregnancy and rearing babies x

Depends on the breed of the sow.
I will not breed a sow until she has hit at least 900grams and is at least 8 months. With my rex i wait until they are 11/14 months old sometimes older to breed them.
I would never breed/pair a sow under or around the 6 month mark.
Just to clairify pelvic bones do not and will not ever fuse together. A sows diet, weight, and general condition is far more important than her age.
