Hi everyone,
I could really do with some help, Im not new to guinea pigs, I have kept them for 10 years now but never breed from them, I had a rescue pig in June and didn't realise that she was pregnant, she gave birth at the beginning of this month November, she is only a small Guinea Pig herself and all her babies were small, she had three in total, they are 3 weeks old and 4 days now, I lost one the other night, he weighed 185g, I have a little girl who is thriving who weighs 235g and putting on weight, but I have a little boy who really isn't doing much at all, he weighs in at 117g at 3 weeks old, hes gained 3g since Monday, he isn't developing as he should and Im worried Im going to lose him, is there something wrong with him in your experience, hes eating and behaving like a Guinea Pig but perhaps not quite as active as his sister, he was also the runt of the litter.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I don't have any experience in this but just wanted to say, sorry for what you're going through. Sounds like the mommy may have been too young to have babies and have read that in most cases the babies may not survive. How is the mommy doing herself? Did she take to the babies well? Feeding them?

Mum is doing fine, shes so good with her babies, she never snaps and is so laid back, shes a really good mum.
I have weighed the little one tonight and he is back to 117g, I really don't think he is going to make it, he just isn't putting weight on.
I have weighed mum tonight too and she is 700g and she is doing fine. She was very small when I got her, she is maybe 11 months old.

Small sows produce small young which is where many problems can come from. The weights of the pups are small, but they can pull through given the time and of course if mother nature helps too.
Lots of greens etc for the mum. And plenty of hay, readi grass, pellets and a large selection of veg for them all. You can attach a bottle to the cage and fill it with full fat goats milk/water, i also attach a bottle of ribena for everyone too.
You can try making a porridge for the pups, mix porridge oats, goats milk (full fat) and warm it through, let it cool a little and feed. Once they realise its good they will tuck right in.
Baby food can be fed too. I use a mixed berries compote and a oats/banana one. The pigs love it.
Good luck

Unfortunately he passed away last night, his weight was just stabilising at 117g and not putting on anymore, I think he passed away peacefully in his sleep with his mum, I really think it was for the best as I think something internally wasn't right with him [goodnight Pudding, sleep tight little man]
The 1 baby that is left is doing really well and growing fast, she is 251g this morning, so all is well there, she will have a happy life with her mum and the other pigs.
