Back in January Poppy had a litter of two pups, one Boar and one sow. She was housed by herself, and when the Boar pup was three weeks old I removed him in with my lone Boar. The two got along grand, and Poppy was happy having her Sow pup stay with her.
Now there are no children in this house hold and My husband doesn't care one way or the other about either my Piggies or my Hamsters so I know no one slipped a Boar in with Poppy for her to conceive another litter.
However Poppy is acting Pregnant, eating me out of house and home and drinking like a bred sow. She's looking Pregnant adding on weight weekly, and her attitude is very much like when I first got her when she was very heavy inpig.
BUT she has not been even nose to nose with a male. Her daughter Pigtunia is inpig but Pigtunia is in a completely different cage since Poppy decided to be a solitary piggie as she was attacking and ripping fur out of her daughter as well as Tulip. Other then all the inpig symptoms she is as normal as could be.
So can Sows who had a litter 3 months ago have a pseudo pregnancy, and if so is there any thing I can do for her to prevent this from happening again and again?
IF she is somehow pregnant I would LOVE to know how it occurred without any Boars about.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It could be a manner of things, ovarian cysts, bloat, normal weight gain.
Have you had a feel of her stomach?
It could well he her son may have caught her, if he was a large pup. Very rare for such young pups to do this but iv heard it more and more with singleton or twin pups. I still remove pups at 3-5 weeks of age myself but each pup is assessed individually.
Keep us posted

Well as of April 1st, Poppy has gain a lot of weight and two days ago I felt the slightest of kicks while holding her in my lap so Poppy is inpig. She is bigger bellied then last time and I felt two kickers at the same time on each side of her belly kicking in opposite directions so doubt it was just on pup. Oh boy I wasn't planning on three litters but it looks like we will have that in the coming weeks. Pigtunia looks like she swallowed three footballs and man when her pups kick she looks like their gonna bust right out her sides the poor girl. Tulip is pregnant but is quite a bit behind for delivering her pups as right now she is becoming pear shaped but so far no movements.
