As some of you may remember I took in a bunch of girls from a less than desirable situation a while back, and turns out ALL the girls were bred. I had thought that my little girl Bumble (previously Raven) managed to avoid it as she was not showing any signs of being pregnant, at all. No bigger than a well fed non bred sow what so ever, and never saw or felt any movement. Yesterday when I went to check in on one of the other girls who is huge and should litter any day, I was peeking in through Ruby's hay and something caught my eye in the next cage over... and it was much too small to be Bumble. So... here is Bumble's little guy... he doesn't have a name yet, so any suggestions appreciated! This little guy is the most ACTIVE and outgoing pup! When I found him he was dry but not "unfolded" so to speak and not moving all that well yet. I moved mom and pup inside to my house so I could keep an eye on them as Bumble seemed very stressed and was not cuddling him or letting him nurse at first.. she would run from him when he tried to get under her.All seems well now though, and she's been cooing at him and he is getting lots to drink now! For those who may not remember her, here is Bumble: And here are some shots of the baby!
