i have breed a guinea pig before but ive put her sister in with my 6 month old boy this thursday and im sure he breed with her straight away. she lay still until he got off her. since then she as been lying down alot. is this normal as when i breed blossom she wasnt like that.

How old is your sow your breeding?
Sows can only become pregnant when they are in season, and only for a couple of hours during this time. Its unlikey you timed things 100% so unlikely the sow is pregnant, it usually takes a few attempts from the boar. He was probably trying his luck. Sows come into season every 2 weeks.

my sow is just over 12 months. its took my other sow 4 days. Blossom is the same age it just made me wonder as blossom wasnt like that when she got catched. my boar or got her pregnant was over 2 years old thou. thanks kayleigh.
