We have a female guinea pig that we bought from a young lady that didn't want her anymore.. She had her in a flat cage but there wasn't very much space... However we've since made her a bigger cage that has two levels..there are ramps that are carpeted and go from one layer to the next. Our guinea pig won't go up the ramps to the next levels.. We even tried enticing her with food and treats ... We tried putting her up on the next level and watching to see if she came down but she refused..didn't move.
What are yalls suggestions???

Some pigs just don't like ramps. They can be too steep for them. How are the ramps in your cage? Are they gradual or steep?
