Every so often Tilly starts to act strangely She rubs her bum on the floor and humms around the cage Does this mean she is in season? I haven't seen any of the other girls do this

I dunno. My boars do that though. Maybe she is confused. I vaugly remember my friend had a sow that did that before. She learned it when she was a pup from watching my friend's boar.

I think they're scent marking Dawn. My boars do it and some of the sows. Had you just cleaned them out or put her somewhere different?

It's definantly scent marking (BTW, don't let them do it to you! It smells awful!).

Actually it does seem to be when I have just cleaned out and last night it was when she went in the indoor run and jumped on the armchair she did it So must be scent marking then
