can anyone tell me why my guinea sometimes does orange wee, it's really worrying me.

Reply certain foods can change wee colour.
Dandelions can make it orange/red. What have you been feeding your piggy?
Also a urine infection could also be a possibility? If your piggy is an older boar it could be that he has a build up of calcium.

What foods are you feeding him? Things like red bell pepper and as gpmum said dandelion greens also. My girl Asia had a UTI a few months back and I took her to the vet and he put her on Sulfatrim for 10 days and it cleared right up!

i haven't fed her pepper or gypsum she might have had dandelions off the grass thanks for your help il keep an eye out

Yes food can cause different coloured wees e.g. Carrot can cause Orange wee, Dandelion Brown and Beetroot Red.

Yes. I agree with all the above. Especially carrots I've noticed. With my piggies, they occasionally have orange wee if I feed them too many carrots. Irene
