The strange thing is she only squeaked a few times but i gave her 3 drops of metacalm because i don't like to see them in pain and when i found that in the morning i was so shocked . I have never seen these stones in all the years of keeping pigs but now i know what to look out for . I had phoned the emergency vet but he was not bothered at all because she was still eating and said to take her to my own vets the next day . Now she is back in with the girls and you wouldn't know she had passed that at all , i think pigs in the group are hardier they seem to be able to cope with a lot

That is amazing..thank goodness she managed to pass it! One of my girls had about 4 or 5 stones in her bladder last year and one was blocking her urethra so they had to be removed surgically....a very worrying time! It must have been really painful when she passed that, I'm not surprised she squeaked!
