Hi all,
I have a little guinea she is a pretty little thing.
The only thing is she wees quite often.
When I hold her she will wee within 10mins. Even if she is snuggled up on her fleece blanket she will be sure to wee even though she wants to sleep. When i got her she was only 7 weeks old and I though she would grow out of this problem. She is not frightened as she is calm talkative and loves to munch on her greens on my lap.
My other guineas are fine. I have checked her habits such as drinking too much etc but she seems to be fine. She has the same diet as the other piggies too.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Annie

im not sure how old she is, but piggies do wee a lot. often they fidget before doing it so with mine when they start i put them back in their cage, wait til they do their wee, then get them back out again. after a few times they learnt to wee in the cage, and mostly will let me know when they need to go......then wheek after to come back out again. but they still sometimes have accidents (usually on other people!!!)

Bladder control problems have difficulty stopping the flow of urine from your bladder. They're said to have bladder control problems. Incontinence is unmanageable leaking of urine on the bladder. Although bladder control problems is a very common problem, it's never normal.
