I am a bit concerned about Percy today (my 4 yr old boar). He likes to sleep on a shelf sometimes rather than the soft and comfy vetbed/hammocks so I always make sure I put plenty of hay on the shelf so he can make a nice nest. This morning the hay was soaking, I mean absolutely sodden with wee. It was so dark and clumped together at first I thought it was diarrhoea but thoroughly checked it and it was just wee. Is this normal to produce so much all of a sudden? He didn’t come out for his breakfast either so I was really late for work because I didn’t dare leave until I’d seen him act normally, which he did eventually. Has anyone ever found an unusual amount of wee and does it mean anything or am I just a worrier!

I agree. I've noticed on cucumber day the girls tend to stop and pee a lot more afterwards.

Keep an eye on him abby i have had this with one of my sows and she was really bad with urine burn and was soaking half way up her body . I have had her in for xrays and it was clear no stone and no sludge but i have her inside and 2 weeks after xrays she has passed some amount of sludge and blood . The day after passing the sludge her pee seems normal but sometimes its rusty coloured , she is fine in herself but i am keeping an eye on her
