I have found a really lovely vet, who is so good with pigs, she treats them well and is'nt patronising. I had to take one of my boars on Monday, because I could'nt get an appointment with my regular vet until tomorrow, which was'nt good enough,so I phoned this new vet which has been opened a year, and got in to see her that same evening,it's only a 10 minute walk from where I live, she was lovely, she gave my boar a thorough exam and was so gentle with him and kind, and basically she was interested, she admitted she was'nt sure what the problem was,but said she would find out for me and let me know,I was in there for about 10 minutes, and my boar was so laid back it was really nice to have a vet that was so pleasant, when I left and went to pay, there was no charge,as it came under a health check, she also took a sample of urine. I'm just waiting to hear the results, which should be today.

Wow that is wonderful to find a great vet. It would have been at least $30.00 for just what your vet did here. Just walking into the office is instantly $30.00 then it goes up from there depending on what they do. I just had my dog to the vet last week, and it was $80.00 for her to look her over and give her antibotics...no tests.
