There's no mention of hot ears on Peter Gurney's list of ailments (it does mention 2 types of infection but this is not listed as a symptom). I would just keep an eye on her for anything else but i don't think you need to worry. Guinea pigs will likely use their ears to keep them cool so it wouldn't be unusual for them to be hot some of the time. On a personal note, one of my younger boars once had a bright red ear that put me in a panic, i thought he must have hurt himself but it turned out to be nothing more than him having spent ages dashing about and getting hot and excited at his new home!

Mine get hot ears sometimes especially if they have been running about in the run, I wouldn't worry too much if they are eating and drinking well

Hi it could be the start of a fungal infection , keep an eye on them and if its fungal you should see other signs on the ears or skin x

My Ruby gets hot ears as well, because her ears are pink it's easy to tell when she's feeling a bit warm as they turn bright red! She's perfectly fine in herself and I was worried the first time I saw her red ears but it's never caused her any problems.
I agree with the other posts though, just keep an eye on her and look out for any other symptoms just to be safe.
