My little girl's getting spayed tomorrow. She had/has a really bad uterine infection. The vet says she's got over a 50% chance of surviving, but I'm still scared. I'm hoping I accidentally put a boy in there with her and that's actually the reason she had goo coming from her, not the infection. I'm going to get the other guinea pig looked at to make sure (s)he's a girl.

She said it would take about an hour. It has been an hour and 40 minutes. She said she'd call right away if anything went wrong. Otherwise, she was going to call about 2 hours after. I'm praying... thanks for the support.

She's female like we suspected.

She's just doing so amazing. She won't eat her own pellets, but she's eating her fruits and veggies, and gerbil food. She's not drinking, but the vet said she gave her enough fluids to last through today.

Good to hear shes doing well I didnt think piggies could eat gerbil food though because of seeds being a risk for choking? claire x

I told my vet what she was eating and she didn't have a problem with it. You think I should stop feeding it to her?
