I noticed that one of our brand new girls (Elena) has split-ends on her whiskers. Some of her whiskers are a bit broken looking, others split-ended. We've only had her a day so I'm sure she came to us this way and it hasn't happened in the 24 hours we've had her.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Could some of the other piggies in the shop have chewed them? Or could it be something else? Will they grow back okay? And would this hurt her? I know their whiskers can be very sensitive.

I don't remember seeing this in any of mine but there and again i don't look at their whiskers I'm inclined to think they may have been nibbled & would think they will grow back (as cats & dogs do) & i'd not think it'd cause her any harm

Hopefully! I only noticed when I was taking pictures of her yesterday. I'm hoping they'll grow back properly. I don't care what she looks like, of course, she could be the raggediest piggy ever and I'd still love her, but whiskers are important to little piggies!
