We've been noticing an 'off squeek' noise when foley has been going to poop/wee. I think he might be a bit constipated. We introduced them all to new food last week, so I've put him back on gurty guinea pig to see if that's the problem. The noise doesn't happen everytime he goes to mess, just occasionaly. Is there anything I should do to help? I gave him some dandelion leaves the other day to 'push' things along...
Thanks in advance!

new food should be introduced slowly, then it wont cause any tummy issues. is there any signs of blood in the wee? it could be cystitis, are there less poops than normal?, and are they smaller than normal, these are signs of not eating properly, and having problems. do you give your piggies veggies every day? hope he is ok xxx

Yep, poos seem fine, and he's not pooping any more or less then he normally does. He has plenty of veggies each day aswell, I think it is the change in dry food, I'll keep an eye on it

Mine does this fairly frequently, and from time to time passes sludge. You can see white chalky deposit. I think she is not quite at the stone stage, but the sludge builds up and causes periodic discomfort.
