My naughty Guinea pigs just ate some of a plastic bag, I know its my fault for leaving it next to the cage, but they ate it. I dont know if it was all 3 of them or just one did it, but theres a hole about the size a little bigger than a golf ball, and theres no peices so I know they ate it. They look fine and they just ate lettuce and now there munch on hay, is there anything I can do, will they get blockages or could it just pass through without anything wrong. Im so worried.

My little monkeys ate some of the rubber strip on a dustpan the other day, I was cleaning their cage and left it in the cage for a matter of seconds whilst I went to get something and when I came back a huge chunk had been devoured....and 3 guilty girls sat around it chewing away happily! They survived and had no adverse effects...and I learnt a lesson I am happy to say. I am sure Guinea Pigs are directly related to goats...they will have a go at eating anything!!
