Not having much luck at the moment with my piggies, Honey now has a swollen front paw, twice the size of her other, took her to the vets and she now has an infection in it, the vet said it was prob because her immune system was a bit low because of her tumor in her stomach so shes now having baytril injections to fight it, I really dont know how she managed to get it infected, I always keep her clean and dry, she doesnt move about much anymore but she keeps on going, honey is 6years 4 months now for anyone that doesnt know her, at the moment it seems to be one thing after another after another

Sorry to hear about Honey. Hopefully when you have got rid of this infection she will pick up and get better quickly. What a good age she is though, most guineapigs don't see 6 years.

Thank you everyone Her foot has started to go down now and shes coming out for her veggies, the vet said to me, 'you know you tell us when you think shes had enough' but I think shes still enjoying life just as much, and shes eating and doddering around, shes still coming out for her veggies and gobbling them down, so I dont think the time has come yet, I mean how do you know, I suppose she will stop eating, I think that will be the first sign, but I would really like her to go in her sleep, for anyone who doesnt know, she has big tumor in her stomach, I will miss her soo much
