Have discovered some unusually-shaped poos in my pigs' cage today - some seem to be quite long, whilst others seem short and fat. They seem to be eating, drinking and behaving perfectly normally, and I haven't noticed them making any strange sounds when they poo. The colour seems to be the same dark brown as they've always been, it's just the size that's puzzling me. Would anyone be able to give me an idea as to what this could be? Thanks

Forgot to mention - they are both sows, and are both just over a year old.

Have you changed their food, veg or brand of hay lately? I find that if I give my pigs different hay they can get funny poops.

I don't think it is anything to worry about, as long as they are firm and the piggies are well in themselves.

Sounds normal, I wouldn't worry about the size of the poo, just the consistency of the poo.
