So I was holding Spongy the other day and she kept tilting her head to one side. Once I put her back in her cage she didn't do it anymore, so I didn't think much of it. Then again today when I was holding her and when I had her on my lap she kept having her head tilted to one side. But she stopped again when she was back in her cage. I've read that tilting her head might be a sign of an ear infection. I was just wondering what the other signs are to see if that's what it is. It's not very tilted, just slightly, but I'm not sure why she's doing it. Here's a pic of her tilting her head:

A head tilt can be caused by an ear infection, ear mites or some kind of brain injury. I would have her looked at by a vet to make sure She is beautiful btw

Thanks Niki I'm gonna bring her to the vet saturday, me and my parents are both off so they can drive me. She's still only doing it when I hold her, never while in her cage. I wonder why?

That's strange that she doesn't do it the other times. Let us know how you get on!

Defiantly let us know! If she did it all the time I'd think it'd be from a stroke. But only when she's being held. I most likely think its an ear infection.

Hm. She hasn't done it at all the last few days. I'm still gonna take her to a vet, just to be safe. Is it possible that it was just a head bumb or something in her ear that's out now?

She started tilting her head again, but it's only once in a while. I can't bring her to the vet until at least friday, since my parents are out of town and the buses don't come often enough for me to be able to bring her by myself. Until then, is there anything I should do? I've been keeping a close eye on her and she's acting normally besides tilting her head. And I've checked her ears and they look normal, which might be a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not sure. What other signs should I be looking for?
