Woodchips in Bum

Ever since I noticed Ruby had goo coming from her genitals (and she had to have emergency surgery), I check all my piggies bottom areas. Gabriel had a wood chip/shaving stuck in his penis. Then, I checked his anus. There was a bunch of wood in there. Should I clean it out or will it come out naturally? Does it matter? Will it make him sick? Thanks.

I would give it a clean out. Wear gloves if you can because the smell is really bad, then just ease out as much as you can. You'll have to get someone to hold him for you. Some people give a really good wash with mineral oil etc, but I've never done it so I can't advise. What I usually do is just gently pull out whatever I can. There can sometimes be a lot of fur and hay bits stuck up there.
