Hello all friends, I would want to share this piece of information on How some untrained vets assume the wrong illness of your cavies....Well am back after a gap as my baby pandy who is now 2 and half yrs was going through a lot of pain and uneasiness for the past one month. She was exerting a lot with her rear end raised and crying in pain to which i started examining her and found her releasing a lot of white thick Sludge..showed few vets who assumed her illness for Impaction and kidney stones ..So i went to a exotic piggy vet and she asked us to get a urine test done along with a UTI Xray.It turned to be a Uterus infection with no kidney stones or bladder sludge thank god except for that...Now under medications and antibiotics. After a weeK another urine test and a pap smear will finallY show better results : ).followed by more medications..Please praY for my baby

I'm sending good thoughts to you and your gorgeous girlie. That's surprising, I would definitely think it was bladder stones or something. It just goes to show how important it is to have a good piggy vet. Hope she gets good results.
