Afternoon everyone
Pip my dominant sow has been acting abormal, shes seperating herself from her companions, and is sitting in the corner all fluffed up. Its hard to explain but she looks all fuzzy and fat. Iv checked her over and cant find anything physical that could be causing this. Shes usually a flightly pig, but she will just sit and be petted now wheres before she would give you the run about for a min or two.
Shes eating and drinking and seems to be healthy. Does anyone know why she might be shutting herself away and hunching up?
Thanks
Kayleigh

Have you had a listen to her chest? She might have a bit of a wheeze or something. Sometimes I have to lift Xander up and put him right up to my hear to hear that his chest isn't the best. I hope she's okay.

Maybe check for lesions too. When Toffee was really sick and the vet checked her out she had a lesion on her foot that we totally missed when we checked her out and she was treated for ringworm. I heard that ring worm can make them quite sick. But the fluffing up thing, I've never heard of before.
I hope she gets better soon.

She seems to be as normal as she can just now, still wolfing down her veggies and is still top pig but she still seperates herself, sits in the corner and looks all puffy.
