Skittles had diarrhea. I went to the vet late today. She said to keep giving the antibiotics, give probiotics, yogurt, and more vitamin c. She also said to separate her to see how she's pooing if she is. She said she had a gas bubble (she had another name for it, but I forget what it was and I just call it a gas bubble). I separated her for a while after the diarrhea. It stopped before we got home and she pooped less than normal, but not enough to worry. The emergency vet I went to said I could wait 3 weeks for a check-up, but I'm glad I went right away. She has been by herself for how many hours (less than 12 though) and she only made one poo. I'm scared, but the vet said call and make an appointment if she doesn't poop, so I'm guessing it's not as urgent as diarrhea if she didn't mention the er vet. I think I'm going to call just to make sure.
Also, she wasn't drinking her water from anything (I also tried a bowl and the syringe thing), so I got the bottle that Ruby was using (in Skittles' normal cage). She acted like it scared her. She kept running past it like she was trying to get away from it, but couldn't find an exit on either side. It took her a while to investigate. Then, she got close to it and wiggled her butt like she could barely lift it. Then, she moved and I saw the one poop.
Also, I'm saving the poop in ziploc bag in the fridge in case samples are needed.

OH WOW!!! Seriously, I just went to check on her and she has been pooping like crazy since I checked on her 5 minutes ago. I guess she was on a pooping strike until I got her the appropriate water bottle. Someone's picky about that specific water bottle. Diva... hehe...
Edit: She ate a bunch of it. Is that a concern?

Had to laugh - sounds like she did go on a pooping strike! LOL. Never heard of that before, but sure sounds like she just wanted her normal bottle.
The other thing I could think was maybe she was running around from some tummy pain - if she was trying to pass the gas bubble. Maybe once she got the gas out she was able to clear out some build up. They do eat some of their poo, not sure if it's normal to eat a bunch of it?? But, you know how they eat it for vitamins... maybe she was trying to eat a lot because she hadn't been able to for a few days.
Goodness - the conversations we have about our piggies eh?! LOL - It's like having a newborn baby, conversation about pee and poo become normal small talk! But seriously, glad she's feeling better. It's scary when they don't act normal.

I'm glad, too. I don't know what I'd do without my piggies. I was planning to move when I thought the landlord was going to say I had to get rid of them. I'm glad she didn't because I don't know how to get out of a lease. If I didn't have them though, my life would be so boring. People aren't quite as funny as my piggies. (I know I'm rambling now, but) I think they have a nice life with me, especially Skittles. It was obvious they didn't give her any attention.
