My boyfriend noticed this today and we aren't sure what it is. Can guinea pigs have eye gunk like humans do when we wake up in the morning? Or is this more serious??

Hmm its difficult to tell from that photo. Guinea pigs dont usually have dishcharge from their eyes so i think its definately worth getting checked out by a vet. My sows will sometimes have a tiny spot of dryness in the inner corner of their eye but nothing white or liquidy.
Is it in one eye or both? Does it come and go?

It's hard to tell from the photo, is this the same as the white cleaning fluid that piggies get in their eyes or is it more outside on the eyelid? There's no harm in getting it looked at. If it's just dried crusty stuff you might find your piggy will wash it away herself.

It's on both eyes and more on the eyelid. Not in her eyes. It seems to be a come and go thing because now it's gone.

I'm not sure if it was dried and crusty.

Keep an eye on her for the next few days and maybe pull back her eyelids to have a quick look in there. If there's any irritation it'll look red and angry, but otherwise it'll be a grey/cream colour. You'll definitely know if there's something wrong, it's really obvious looking. Otherwise, maybe it was just morning crusties. There might not be any point bringing her to the vet if it's gone now, but monitor her so you can bring her if it comes back or her eyes are sore.

I'm worried too. My guinnea pig sneased on me and when she did white stuff came out, then her eyes went white and gunky like that, but it seeped back through the corner of her eye. Any help?

That white stuff is nothing to worry about, it's just cleaning fluid that piggies secrete from their eyes ( see this page). They wipe it onto their paws and use it to clean themselves
