This first picture is of Swirlie. My boyfriend and I were wondering why her eyes pop out like this. They are like this all the time and when she is scared they get even bigger. All my other guinea pigs eyes don't pop out like this so we were wondering if something was wrong with her.

And this one is of Swirlie's eye close up. The white's of her eyes aren't white as you can see...is something wrong health wise if her eye whites are this color??

Its natural for guinea pigs eye to protrude slightly, Its just how they are. Aslong as both eyes are the same size, she hasnt got any discharge and there is no sign of wounds in or around her eyes i would say they are normal.
Not all guinea pigs have very white parts of their eyes, Like some animals they have different coloured eyes and with this a variation in the whites.

One of my piggies are eyes that stick out even more than that and she's fine, she just looks funny at certain angles  And they definitely stick out more when she's scared, hehe! |
