I'm due a litter, she caught early and was showing about two weeks into it, I'm expecting a big litter, she is at the mo in time 1.249 grams, she will pop if she gets bigger, she has ballooned the past two days, is so shocking to watch her change, I really can't wait for this litter, so far so good, and she loves her kisses and cuddles, if I don't get her out she sulks lol, will even allow a head rub most nights lol, but I'm doing reg weight checks,

a slight typo error in your topic. Im sure you mean 2011 not 2001. Congratulations on your sow. Ensure she gets plenty of exercise and fresh veggies. Keeping a weight check is a good idea. I must say though guinea pigs dont show pregnancy until a fair while into it. The only way to know would be via an ultrasound. Its also near impossible to tell when the sow has taken as the pigs will mate several times during their time togeather.
Best of luck though and keep us updated. Pup pigtures are lovely to see.
Id love yo see a snap of the pregnant sow. They always look so radient when pregnant.

she looks lovely. How do you know shes carrying two pups? Im curious. as iv tried to have a feel of my pregnant sows and its not easy to feel for each individual!!! I think iv been correct on two occasions hehe.

Shes plumping out nicely. As she gets larger try to to over handle her. This will upset the pups and can cause the sow to stress out. When i know my sows are a week or two away i stop handling them (only to clean them out) i like to keep the cage/hutch spick and span for the new arrivals. They still get their veggies ect and a nice nose rub i just dont lift them up.

Well sweetpea is getting bigger and bigger by the day she's a whooping 1.390 now, she's gained 5 grams in a day or two, she's very active, babies are active and eating like a pig so all is good

Was 2 weeks on Sunday, if she lasts that long lol, she's getting bigger and buggers she's a 1.414 in weight now, and she has some very very lively babies, was watching them turn kick and had to have a feel, am so excited

Well a week to go, and she ripped her claw half off today so I had to pull it off, didn't wanna but thought it was for the best, stress she didn't really need
