Im still undecided. Im going to give her at least 6 months to recover then ill see how i feel then. I wont be breeding again until next year with the exception of my young rex sow who will need to be paired around December time. But she wont deliver until feb/march 2012.

Morning everyone Apatches last little sow passed away late last night. Whats even sadder is the fact that Tousel delivered 3 gorgeous pups in the early hours. If only the wee sow had held on i would have tried to intergrate her into Tousels litter. RIP little pup. Tousel delivered 3 lovely pups, When i found them all this morning they were all very much dry and running about. Im delighted she done so well. She had 2 sows and a single little boar. The pups got weighed this morning and sexed. Sow no 1 - 106grams Sow no 2 - 91grams Boar - 107grams All very good weights. And mum and pups are doing great. Kayleigh

Do you keep all of your pups or do you find them homes? They are all so cute. I am glad they are doing well.

Ah, poor Apatche. I hope she isn't too sad. It must be hard for her. That's such a pity about her babies and the little one that didn't make it. But I suppose these things happen and you can be content in the knowledge that she had the best possible care throughout her pregnancy and you did everything right. Tousel's babies are gorgeous! I love the little sow, she has such a cheeky look on her face

Do you keep all of your pups or do you find them homes? They are all so cute. I am glad they are doing well. I usually keep a pup or two from my litters as i cant let them go. I fall in love with their own quirky personalities. I have found great homes for pups who need them though. Kayleigh

Pups are doing great for being not even 24 hours old. Running about like mad and even trying out a nibble or two at the veggies. Got some snaps of them today. Hope you like the pigtures Kayleigh

Im defo keeping the ginger sow, im not sure about the other sow yet, ill see how things go. Iv got quite a list of people after pigs from me but im very picky with owners of my pups. The wee boar has a prospective home already. A friend wants to pair her older boar with him well try too.
