Ohh, I'm so excited to see what Hadley's babies are like. I've always thought he was so handsome and I remember you saying how chilled out he was. He has such a friendly face.
I hope both the litters go well and the boys figure out what they're meant to do.
I'm sure the girls will be great mums again since they know what to do from before. Will you house them together for their pregnancies or with other piggy friends?

Im going to house both Apatche and Tousel togeather when they are taken away from their partners. Hopefully they will get along ok.

Well the pairs have been togeather for 4 weeks and a day. Im fairly sure both sows have taken but they are very happy with their partners just now so i will keep them togeather for another 3 weeks or until they decide they want to be housed with their friends again.
Fingers crossed,

I am so excited to hear all about your new pups and see pigtures! I am waiting to see if I bought pregnant girls from the pet store. I should be able to tell in the next few weeks. I didn't think about them even having babies till the started getting a lot more round in the back. It is a waiting game now... Good luck with your pups.

Hi everyone Just a wee update on my girls, we are on day 58 (give or take) and they are both lovely and plump. Iv taken a snap of them but the pictures dont do them justice. Apatche - 1.501 kg Tousel - 1.482 kg The girls weights really arent too far apart so im hoping they both deliver around the same time. They are both still wheeking and very very lively and loving their vegetables. Im hoping they deliver in the next two weeks or so. Fingers crossed Kayleigh

Thank you Orlaith. They are still growing and no signs yet of any pups. Im hoping they deliver before the move out to the shed. I think ill be keeping them inside until the pups are a couple of weeks old anyways, I love being so close to mum and pups.
Ill keep you all up to date.

Evening everyone,
Iv some very sad news, Apatche delivered her litter this evening 4 were stillborn and a fifth is still alive but im not sure she will survive the night. Shes very small. Apatche seems down so i took the pup away for a while and kept her warm and fed her a little. Shes now back with mum and they are both snuggled up. Apatche has has some readi grass and veggies and iv cleaned the hutch.
Mothernature can be very cruel but in breeding i chose to make the decision and must accept the outcome.
On another note Tousel is still very much pregnant and is very lazy about her movements. Iv taken her away from Apatche and she has a nice clean cage to herself. Im hoping things are ok when she delivers. Fingers crossed.
Ill keep you all updated.
Thanks for following

This is how I've been feeling the past few days with coco's litter to wake up and find 1 dead, but I really hope she makes it through the night

I would be alot less worried if id seen the pup feeding. But i havent. Iv had a look at Apatche and she doesnt look to be producing much milk at all. I think she went into early labour and her body just wasnt ready. Day 69 so within the "due" dates. But it means she took in the first few days of being with Hadley.
Fingers crossed for Tousel though.
