Well I paired Snow with Teddy awhile ago,but she was having nothing to do with him. I thought he had given up completely. Well last week my bf said " Snow is pregnant" I didn't believe him since I'd been bragging to him earlier about how big she's getting since we got her in June. Well he put her on the bed and this is what we saw...I really just thought she was fat though. I guess she gave in. If she has super sexy babies(which I'm sure she will lol) and I wanted to show them does it cost $ to take the piggies to shows?

She does indeed look pregnant. Congratulations. When did you pair her? Just so you can have a rough idea on the birth.
Showing pigs really isnt too expensive, but you must must must do your research on the chosen breed. Unless you intend to show in the pet section. Im just starting out showing my himi's and rex's and its a lovely thing to do. Meeting new people, cavy savvy people and the pigs seem to enjoy the outings.
I think it cost me £3 for my last show. And around £10 for both my partner and I to join the SNCC (scottish national cavy club) so its a nice hobby.
Best of luck

I paired her around a month and a half ago. I think my other guinea pig might be expecting also, but her hair kind of makes it hard for me to tell. There was also a woman that had a pregnant piggy that I took in today. She said her child left for college and they didn't want to take care of it and that they had already re-homed her other piggies. She said she didn't know the sexes of any of them and that she just housed them together, but that she could feel the babies in this one. She pissed me off being so neglectful, but I couldn't let her take this last one to the shelter as she told me that nobody wanted the pregnant piggy. So I have either 2 or 3 expecting piggies. I rescue a lot of piggies offline. I can't help it. :/ good thing I don't have school for awhile so I can monitor them all. Is it ok to house pregnant piggies together?? Oh here's a picture of the one I rescued.

Here's my other piggy. I can't tell If she is pregnant or not as her crazy hair is in the way. I think she is though. I paired her a little after I paired Snow and Teddy. Is it possible for a half Himalayan to give birth to a full Himalayan or no?

It can be extremly stressful to move pregnant sows so for now i would suggest keeping the sows in a quiet area and let them settle in. If you breed a half himalayan with a full himalayan you can get himi looking pups but they will never be pedigrees as its clear the parents arent 100% if that makes sense.
Its best to keep all rescue pigs in quarentine for a week or so to ensure they arent carrying anything.
Best of luck with your pigs
