So I got my 3 texels. 2 boys(Patches & Jun Pyo) and 1 girl(Hermione). Hermione is 6 months old and the boys are 2 months old. Jun Pyo has his own set of parents and Patches and Hermione have the same mother,but they each have a different father. So my question is would it be ok or not to mate Hermione and Patches? Or does this make Hermione and Patches siblings?(which I know means they can't mate)

The texel breed is a large breed pig so you shouldnt breed your sow until shes 8 months at least and holding a good weight. The two boars are also too young to breed with, you need to allow them to mature to ensure no harm is done to anyone.
I personally would never breed brother and sister as thats a little too close for comfort genetics wise. Generally speaking, mother to son and father to daughter is ok as the gene pool is spread out (can be a very confronational topic if people dont understand what they are talking about)
If you have a completely unrelated boar, why cant you breed with him? Breeding with any pigs who backgrounds you dont know can be risky as you can end up with deformed pups ect.

Ah I wasn't going to with the brother I was just wondering if they were brother and sister since they have different dad's and the woman I got them from said that they aren't related because of that,but I figured they're like half siblings lol.

If they share one of the same parents then they share part DNA...so they are related. Would love to see some pictures of your texels (in their own special thread)

Aster is grandpa to your male. So, Jun Pyo's mom is Lilac, dad is Aster; Hermoine's mom is Azalia and dad is Aster; Patches mom is Azalia and dad is Lotus; Lotus's mom is Lilac and dad is Aster.  It seems they are all related in some way. So I can't breed them when they're older right??? |

Distant relations like that are ok. I think the worst to breed is brother and sister who share both parents.
