my piggy nutts has like a dry wheeeeeeek and is coughing and sneezing an awful lot for two days now, she is eating and drinking fine, and her poops and pees are normal, she doesn't like being handled lately and gets very stressed if i put my hand near her when i am petting one of the others. the others seem to be fine. and when left alone she is very talkative but her wheeeeks still sound very dry, she gets along fine with the others (she is not being bullied at all). i am worried about her and was wondering if anyone knows what may be wrong with her?
Also biscuits is sort of pear shaped (definitely not pregnant) she is also eating, drinking, peeing and pooping fine, I'm not sure whether she is just getting a little fat, or if there is anything else that it could be.
would you suggest a trip to the vets for either or both of my girlie's?

If I were you I'd go the vet for a check up, just in case. Probably with nutts more than biscuits. If you're worried about either of them then I guess it's better to be safe than sorry =)

Have you got the heating on a lot? Could her throat be getting dried out a bit?

yes we have the heating on alot, and i also thought that it could be that she has a dry throat so i keep changing her water every couple of hours instead of every day but it doesn't seem to be helping could it maybe be a throat infection? I'm really worried because she normally lets me pet her and she normally loves her cuddles but now she wheeeks really loud when ever i go near her

I would bring her to the vet as a precaution, especially because her behaviour has changed. Hopefully it'll be something small that can be cleared up within a few days.

Is Biscuits stomach solid at all or feel like theres air inside? Sometimes guinea pigs can suffer with bloat. This is a serious condition and needs urgent vet treatment. BUT if she is eating, drinking ect and her stomach doesnt feel solid at all then leave her be.
You could take both of them to the vets for a check up just to be on the safe side. Its not usually that expensive to get check ups.
The heat in the house could effect the throat area. Are they close to any radiators?

yes her stomach is pretty solid but not all of the time, and they are at the other side of the room away from the radiators but the room is pretty warm until i open the window, i think to be on the safe side i will get them both checked a.s.a.p just incase, i wouldn't like anything to happen to any of them. i just hope that its nothing serious.
