[please excuse messy cage. They keep knocking over their hay rack. I have to clean it tomorrow]
So I've noticed Snow has these brown markings on her fur and I figured it was dirt, but when I gave her a bath the markings didn't come out! If it IS dirt does anyone have any tips for getting it out? Could it be something else?? .___.

Try putting the hay rack a little higher. it doesnt hurt to make the pigs use their back legs to eat the hay. Any exercise is good. As for the black marks it does look like dirt, Although she has dark patches on her ears so it could be fur colour, how old is she?
You can use swafega (green gel in a red tub) mechanics use it. This is great at getting pigs very clean. Or you can use good ole fairly liquid.
How often do you clean the cage? It could be shes laying on one side and its muck from the cage.
You could treat for mites if you want, doesnt harm, but unless they are scratching or theres dirty brown flecks in the coat or theres hairloss theres no need.

I thoroughly clean the cage every 2-3 days. Tidy it daily. She's about 10 months old and this brown stuff just started showing up about 2 weeks ago.

Hmm very strange! Does the colour go to the root of the coat? Or is it topical?
