ive just gotva new piggie and i noticed today hes got a bald spot that looks dry any suggestions?

treat with ivermectin in case it is fur mites. add vit C (drops to water or food or just be sure a food with vit C added is fresh) in case it is a deficiency add a drop of baby oil to the skin.

It sounds like a fungal infection. I would treat with daktarin athletes foot cream for a few days. Wash your hands before and after handling him and keep his cage clean and fresh.
It could also be mites so i would also treat with ivermectin just to rule that out too.

Whereabouts is the bald spot? Just to be sure that you know, guinea pigs are naturally bald behind their ears and the inside of their legs, where their ankles would be.
