I've just learned that Romaine lettuce can cause kidney stones. I found a spot of dried white urine while changing Shelby's fleece which caused some research. Do I need to worry? He's only had Romaine for about a week and a half, about every other day during that time period, and maybe only 1/4 cup worth.

Dried white urine on fleece is usually nothing to worry about. Its just the calcuim in the urine.
As for romaine lettuce causing this, there are many veggies that can make pigs more common to it. But aslong as you vary the diet you should be fine. I feed carrots, spring greens ect very often with no problems.

Thank you, Kayleigh. I'm getting so fed up with all the conflicting information out there, it's like "well you can feed this, but it will cause that, and if you feed this, this will happen." I'm sitting here at my desk shaking my head.

You will always get conflicting information. But you do whats best for your animals. You can only advise others.
I feed my pigs carrots almost daily but "apparently" this is wrong. None of my pigs suffer from anything due to eating carrots.
I dont add vit c into the pigs water or give them vit c "treats" and non suffer from scurvy or any of form of vit c defiency. So im obviously doing something right there too.
Aslong as we are happy our pigs are healthy and happy then thats good,
