We've just weighed our piggies and Zac is 600g at 5 months and 10 days. Warren is 4 months and 20 days and is 40g heavier. Brendan, the runt of the litter and the same age as Warren, is 25g less than Zac. I had a spreadsheet but my laptop has deleted it, but I'm pretty sure Zac was 700g two weeks ago. He's also wheezing and chokes every now and then =/ The wheezing has only just started, but he was choking from the hay when we got him, I thought it was just him adjusting to eating so much hay (he was from pets at home and in a large litter with not much hay to share between them) so I never thought to get it checked out. I'm going to make a vet appointment asap but I'm worried that he's not gaining weight and wheezing because of something more serious. Any ideas so I can ask the vet about specific things to check for? Also. Zac and Vincent are housed together and they get along quite well when I see them. But Vincent has a nip behind the ear, which I assume is Zac due to where it is. When I've watched them there are very little confruntations at all, and if there are it's because of food, but nothing serious. I'm just worried that they might be just pretending to be nice when I'm there but secretly hating each other when I'm gone. Is there anything I shoud do? Because when they're not together they look around for each other =(

A URI is the first thing that comes to mind, so ask about that... Good luck!

Back from the vets and he was completely fine! No sneezing, he was nibbling on carrot and scuttling around all over the place! Now we're home he's just sat in the back of the carrier not doing much =( we've got antibiotics, they couldn't see his back teeth due to his mouth being full of carrot so we're going back in a week to see if he's put any weight on etc.. I've been told to seperate him and Vincent at meal times incase Vincent is pushing him out of the way, and he's therefore not getting any nutrients =(
