My skinny carrier has Diarreah. She didn't have it until about 2 days ago. I'm wondering if it's b/c my bf gave her too much oranges? Or what can it be? How can I help her not have it? It's not black it's just brown & watery. Does she need to go to the vet? B/c the earliest I can go is this weekend. :/

Is there any sort of medicine I can use like Pepto Bismol or something similar?

You can get kaolin-pectin (a liquid medication). It's for dogs, cats, horses, etc. The dosage for piggies is 0.5 ml. It's inexpensive if you can find it. Try looking at a feed store or a pet store. You really have to watch the diarrhea because it can be deadly very quick! If the diarrhea persists get the piggie to the vet asap.

I'd also advise cutting out the fruit and veg for a day or two and just feed plain pellets and hay, just until her tummy settles down.
Also, did you feed her anything out of the ordinary? Sometimes a change in diet is the cause.

I came back from work last night to find that she had passed away & her cage mate had tried to bury her. The day I left for work she no longer had diarrhea. But maybe it took a toll on her since she was only 4 months old. I was hoping I would've been able to take her to the vet,but my job is literally taking up my whole week. -.-"

Oh what a sad thing to hear. So sorry. Gosh diarrhea does get to them bad doesn't it. I never would have realised it makes them so poorly. i suppose with her being so young too. Big hugs
