my only piggy bandit is really itch and losing his fur. please dont hate me or think im mistreating him but i cant affored a vet at the moment due to moving. are there any shampoos i can get? he has no open wounds that i can see so was hoping a shampoo could help if not then i will have to go to the vet and see if they can help. thanks

It could be mites. It might also be a fungal infection. You can try a spot-on treatment for the mites or an anti-fungal cream (like an athlete's foot cream) for a fungal infection. If nothing seems to help, it would be best to get Bandit to a vet.

You will need to use a spot on treatment containing ivermectin, you can get this from pet stores. I would use this first and see if this helps. Dont use a shampoo until your sure it is mites. Sometimes vets arent always needed, if you catch these things early you can treat them yourself.

he seems to be doing alot better the itching has stopped and hair is growing ive got 4 spot ons incase thanx everyone
