SO during play time 2 days ago I found a scabby spot on Topper, I have had him only 3 weeks and he was fine his first Check up. I took him to work yesterday and my Vet looked at him. He had a hot spot she thought or he scratched himself causing the sore there, there was no lice or anything, He doesn't itch everywhere just that spot. She did treat him with Ivermectin just to make sure no lice/mites or anything. However when she was removing the scabby area. Topper had a Seizure, she said piggys can do that sometimes if they get itchy and you scratch the itchy spots. She is a guinea Pig O herself. She said he would be fine but it was VERY scary because by bunny Passed away from a seizure just a few months ago. I have to keep it clean and put ointment on it and he gets more Ivermectin and a Recheck in 10 Days. This is the best Pic I could get when i found it as it was painful when i tried to touch it he even tried to bite me.

A seizure in any pig is a serious thing and shouldnt just happen. So maybe they didnt meant seizure, or at least id hope they didnt mean this. Leave the ivermectin to do its job for a couple of a weeks, it may be fungal caused by stress so you could also put a cream on this just to see if it helps, You can use human athletes foot cream, Daktarin etc.
