This morning I noticed Terra had a bit of a runny nose His nose seems ok now. This morning he also sneezed a couple of times but hasn't sneezed since. He is eating and drinking and is otherwise ok. Im trying to get my hubby to take him to a vet either today or tomorrow.
But he says its " just a cold" and I cant convince him that this can be serious. We have been at the vets a few times this month and the vet visit emergency fund is low. I hope he listens to me before its too late. I just lost my cat I don't want to lose piggie I love him dearly.

Keep the pig warm, and out of drafts. Plenty of fresh veg and just watch him for a few days. If its a slight cold, vets arent needed. You can give some added Vit C just for a boost too, if you dont supplement already.

Thanks He seems to be doing better today. I boosted his Vitamin c intake and have been giving him plenty of veggies. He was popcorning last night so I think he will be ok.

Thats good news. Sometimes we can treat our pigs ourselves if we know how too!! Vets can be expensive and arent always needed. Glad hes doing better

I gave it a few days and he wasn't getting better so I took him to the vet and she gave him an antibiotic she also said he has a nasty sprain and it is probably hurting him a lot so i got some pain meds for him too. Hopefully in a few days he will be ok. I need prayers and good thoughts for my little guy.
