Hello
Has anyone seen when their guinea pig has mated and how many days the pregnancy has lasted for? I was just wondering if there is an average day or more likely day they have their babies on? I also read that the more babies they have the longer the pregnancy? I thought it might be interesting to see if this was true in everyone experience?
Thankyou

Sows are pregnant between 66 - 72 days in most cases. So around 10 weeks. Litter size makes no difference in gestation. Although general circumstances do, which is why its advised to keep a sow as relaxed and stress free as possible, to prevent early labour amongst other things.
