So I had the silkie, now named izzie, out to check on her and when I felt her belly I could feel a little body on one side. But I can't tell if I was feeling kicks or not. I was feeling a sort of thumping but I wasn't sure if that was just moms heart rate being elevated, she still isn't fond of out of cage time.
Was that really kicking or should I be worried that I have a still born on my hands.

What I do, I rub the baby gently, not harming him/her at all. And then softly press, rub, and then hold your hand there. I kind of try to wake the baby up. I have a pregnant one with one on each side, sometimes theyre not active at all. My advice, just wait. Hope it the mystery is solved!

Somtimes pups go very still when they are due to be delivered.
I wouldnt advise poking about if your not sure what or how light to be. Try not to panic. When is she due?
